When I was a child I watched a magazine put together from the ground up. My father attempted to create a publication devoted to hispanic culture and I was able to spend time at his office. Sadly, funding ran out but I’ve been enchanted with print ever since. As a graphic designer I have over 25 years experience. I’ve provided design, writing and illustration services for clients large (Disney, Marvel) and small (too many to list). I wrote most issues of the Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers comic book for Disney, drew storyboards for one of Jay Leno's earliest film roles in What's Up, Hideous Sun Demon? (I'm not making this up), spent years designing promotional publications for San Diego's Comic-Con International including its annual souvenir book, was art director for SLG Publishing were I also wrote and drew the comic book It's Science with Dr. Radium, and created colophons for scientific publisher Annual Reviews. Currently, I am looking to focus more fully on publication design for print. It gives me the most professional satisfaction and it's great working on projects that will exist in tangible space. I am handy and comfortable with the current Creative Cloud versions of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I love what I do.
